01 Drawer & grid ▾
Internal dimensions. Measure at the tightest point and subtract 1–2 mm so the assembly slides in.

03 Split ▾
Staggered offsets joints between rows like brickwork so seams never line up. Fewest plates searches split patterns and picks the one needing the fewest print beds — often pairing two narrow pieces on one plate. For full control click grid lines on the cut map; that switches to Manual.
04 Connectors ▾
Tabs on one piece drop into open-bottomed pockets on its neighbour. Assemble on a flat surface, then lower the whole plate into the drawer. Placed at every wall junction along each seam.
Jigsaw lobes printed on one piece lock into matching cavities on its neighbour — the strongest in-plane joint. Adds a ~2.6 mm solid floor that the lobes live in; assembles by lowering pieces together.
Recesses are cut into the underside of both pieces; printed keys bridge each seam. Adds a solid floor to house the keys — the keys STL is in Export and in the ZIP.
Dog-bone recesses under both pieces take a sprung key: the slot through its middle lets it compress, so it clicks in and holds. Adds a solid floor. Keys STL in Export.
Tiny H-shaped keys (≈3.6 × 3.8 mm) sink into pockets in the grid walls at each junction, pressed in from beneath during face-down assembly. No floor, almost no filament, invisible from above. Keys STL in Export.
From above suits drawers you can't lower an assembled plate into: lay the pieces in place, then drop a key into each junction from the top. Keys sit just below flush; the rim gets a small opening at each junction, hidden under the bins' rounded corners.
Wall housing sinks slim keys into the grid walls at each junction — the plate stays open-bottomed and uses no extra filament. Keys are smaller, so the hold is lighter; solid floor gives the strongest joint.
0.2 suits most printers. Print the test tile pair first; tighten to 0.15 or loosen to 0.25 from there.
05 Magnets & screws ▾
Corner pockets match the light-weight style of other generators: small rounded bosses at each cell corner instead of a full floor. Gravity-fit drawers need neither magnets nor screws.
06 Socket profile ▾
For drawers or containers with rounded corners — match each radius to the drawer, front of drawer at the bottom of the cut map.
Defaults follow the Gridfinity spec (42 mm pitch, three-part profile, 4.25 mm plate). Change pitch only for non-standard bins.
07 Export ▾
Each ZIP includes every piece, a README with assembly order, and your settings. STLs are millimetre-scale, print flat as oriented, no supports.
